Kek DAO

$KEK isn’t built to be run forever by a shadowy team in a Discord backroom, the endgame is full community ownership. The DAO model ensures that every major decision comes from the holders, not a central authority.

🐸 Transition to DAO

Phase 1 – Guided Launch (Pre-Q4)

  • Core team in control: Handles feature rollouts, bug patches, security upgrades, and strategic partnerships.

  • Goal: Rapid development without waiting for lengthy votes, ensuring stability and speed during the early grind.

Phase 2 – Community Control (Post-Q4)

  • DAO activation: Smart contracts shift proposal and voting rights to the community.

  • Scope of DAO authority:

    1. Feature Approvals – Any new platform features, game mechanics, or DEX upgrades require DAO greenlight.

    2. Fee Adjustments – Changes to trading fee % or allocation between buyback/revenue share.

    3. Treasury Allocation – Funding partner events, liquidity boosts, marketing pushes, or special prize pools.

    4. Seasonal Event Themes – Community-driven selection of meme seasons, tournament formats, and cultural tie-ins.

🐸 Voting Power

  • 1 $KEK = 1 Vote – Pure proportional representation.

  • Proposal Rights:

    • Most proposals: Open to all token holders above a minimum threshold (to avoid spam).

    • High-impact proposals (e.g., fee changes, treasury reallocations): Require NFT pass ownership in addition to token holdings.

  • Voting Window: Defined timeframes for each proposal, ensuring enough participation while keeping decisions timely.

  • Quorum Rules: Minimum % of circulating supply must vote for a proposal to pass, protecting against low-turnout hijacks.

🐸 Governance

  • On-Chain Execution: Passed proposals are executed automatically via smart contracts, no “manual” intervention.

  • Transparency Portal: Public dashboard with proposal history, voting breakdowns, and execution logs.

  • Anti-Whale Protections: Optional mechanisms (like capped voting weight) can be enabled by DAO vote if needed.

This structure means that by the time DAO governance goes live, the community won’t just “have a say", they’ll own the steering wheel for $KEK’s future, deciding how the platform evolves, how the treasury is spent, and how deep the memes go.
